The clinical staff at Behavioral ONE provides a comprehensive range of services designed and chosen to meet your child’s needs and your family’s personal values, goals, and preferences.

Our team works directly with your family in an efficient manner to determine which services are desired, which services are needed, and which services will promote the greatest growth and learning for your child.

All treatment and therapy occurs in ONE location, and all therapy sessions can be coordinated to occur during ONE visit.

Each member of our clinical staff provides evidence-based treatment in their respective fields. While each field has its own set of skills and individual goals that it is focusing on, the entire team remains in constant communication. Promoting the most rapid growth, and generalization of skills is dependent upon all therapists collaborating regarding goals, progress, areas of weakness and strength, future directions, and strategies for working with your child.

Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. It often includes both a skill acquisition program to facilitate the development of language, communication, adaptive and functional living skills, as well as a behavior reduction program to facilitate a decrease in maladaptive behaviors. These services are provided under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  Applied Behavior Analysis is most effective when parent training and involvement are built in as part of the treatment plan and programming.

Tutoring for Dyslexia is provided at Behavioral ONE's clinic by a certified Teacher with specified training in dyslexia through Orton Gillingham.  Behavioral ONE's Dyslexia Tutoring Program offers intensive one-to-one tutoring utilizing the Orton Gillingham approach. Orton Gillingham is a direct instruction curriculum that is personalized to recognize the individual needs of learners and pace instruction based on student mastery and progress. It is diagnostic and prescriptive as the instructor continuously monitors the verbal, non-verbal, and written responses of the student in order to understand both the student's challenges and progress.

Academic Tutoring

Our service providers offer academic tutoring utilizing evidence based curriculums and strategies to provide instruction to your child in their specific deficit areas. We focus on both supporting the child with the current school curriculum, as well as providing remedial instruction focused on deficit areas. We conduct initial assessments to determine the areas of need, student strengths, and to assist in writing measurable goals. We utilize progress-monitoring strategies to collect data regarding your child’s progress towards these goals, and make data based decisions regarding the implementation of instruction.

Speech and Language Therapy

A licensed speech and language pathologist provides Speech and Language Therapy. These services are designed to meet the specific needs and deficits of the client, and can include therapy to address articulation deficits, pragmatic language deficits, as well as social skill deficits. Our speech pathologists utilize a variety of tools and standardized assessment procedures to assess each client’s specific needs and develop appropriate programs.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy Services are designed and tailored to meet each client’s specific deficits and needs as determined by a standardized and comprehensive assessment. Individual occupational therapy is provided to address fine motor, gross motor, as well as sensory deficits. Our occupational therapists work collaboratively with all of our service providers to ensure that the skills and strategies being taught and utilized during individual occupational therapy sessions are consistent and reinforced across providers.
